Itinerary in Paris Solo

Here is my experience navigating Paris's iconic landmarks and savoring its exquisite cuisine.

Paris has everything a traveler could ever want. Only by wandering the city’s cobblestone alleys to discover the historical treasures, not to mention the food scene, the shopping, and of course, the famous cabarets for nightlife you will discover the real essence.

Paris is unquestionably one of those cities that the rest of the world envies Europe for!

In my opinion, Paris is not a once-and-done type of destination. It’s not a city to just check off your travel bucket list. It’s the city you’ll return to again and again.

So let me continue by saying, 3 days in Paris is not enough time! But if that’s all you have, you can still get a good taste of The City of Lights.

First Day in Paris
City of Lights Famous Sights

Start your morning off pretty early with a French breakfast, a delicious croissant, and a great coffee to keep you going all day.

The Eiffel Tower should be your next stop. Of course, you definitely want to hang out in the Jardin de la Tour Eiffel. Now that thankfully, you’ve started the day earlier, you’ll not have to worry about the crowds.

After this hot spot, if you want to get other spectacular sights or just for fun, head straight to Rue de l’Universite, Champ de Mars, and Trocadero.

Before going to France’s most iconic art museum, the Louvre, you can experience the Seine cruise trip.

And not that you are at Louve, enjoy for hours and hours exploring the art from around the globe and of course spotting the Mona Lisa.

After that, it is time to head back across the Seine and wander over to Musee de l’Orangerie on your way to l’Arc de Triomphe. Now that all the city’s lights are on is the perfect moment to take your ride up to the top of the Eiffel Tower and take in all the city’s beauty.

In between all this, you may want to wander through Chams Elysee and pay a visit to Palais Garnier, Musee d’Orsay, Pantheon, and definitely Notre Dame de Paris. And now you have pretty much covered all the famous landmarks.

If you don’t want to walk, the easiest way to get to see all these landmarks is by taking the famous Hop-On Hop-Off Bus.

You may want to start your second day in France with a short shopping session. Wherever you go traveling, shopping should be a must.

If you still haven’t had enough historical sites, you may want to visit The Catacombs.

Spend your afternoon exploring the city’s alleys and architecture while you embrace the French spirit and try some delicious cheese bites with a glass of wine.

Discover the few remaining family-run eateries in Paris and the insights into French cuisine, while you try classic traditional dishes and innovative pastries (patisserie).

There are some activities in Paris that are just so quintessentially Parisian that you can’t imagine doing them anywhere else. And one of those is to attend a cabaret show, arguably the most famous cabaret show in Paris, if not the world, is the show at the Moulin Rouge.
