Planning to visit Dubai soon? This is an excellent idea! Let's talk through the 4 Best Days Budget Itinerary In Dubai On The Weekend! And all the culture, adrenaline, delectable food, and spectacular affordable things to do.

As you may know already, Dubai is synonymous with luxury, therefore is one of the high-end travel destinations. On the surface, this gleaming city is known for its glitzy towering architectural masterpieces sprawling malls, gold souq, and expensive cars.

But if you spend 4 days in Dubai then you’ll soon realize how much more the Middle Eastern mega-city has to offer and how many affordable activities you can do as well.

Dubai is one of a few places in the world where you can sunbathe on pristine beaches, surf down giant sand dunes, and wander around historic alleyways all within the same day.

Of course, anywhere you plan to travel in the world, there are still some costs involved besides tourism itself, so here are some things you should consider before traveling.

Hotels in Dubai can be costly, especially in the most famous areas so, for better deals you can check the hotels in Dubai’s Old City or Jebel Ali. On top of this, book your accommodation in Dubai in advance for a better deal.

In terms of transfers, for solo travelers, I will not suggest using public transportation. Besides a few landmarks located near the metro station, you will still need a car ride. Hop On Hop Off Buses are an amazing choice while renting a car can be also extremely wise.

Now, regarding the number of days you should spend in Dubai, I can definitely say that for a budget trip, 4 days can cover the most important landmarks.

When you look at this itinerary, it looks overwhelming with the number of attractions to visit each day. Please don’t force yourself to do everything. Instead, I encourage you to tailor your itinerary based on your interest and how you’re feeling. Now, let’s enjoy this vibrant city!

First Day
Downtown and Financial Center

Downtown Dubai is one of the most visited areas with many things to see and do so, the perfect place to start your trip.

No way to miss Dubai Mall, the largest shopping city center in the world. Inside you can visit the Dubai Aquarium as well as the waterfall with statues of human divers.

Following the exit signs in Dubai Mall, you will find the one which takes you to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain. Here is the perfect spot for some of the most Instagrammable pictures.

The Dubai Fountain’s show can be seen each night and is definitely breathtaking. The mix of great music and the power of water can create many emotions.

Among many sights, one of the most famous symbols of Dubai is definitely Emirates Towers. And in the same area, you will find the spectacular Museum of the Future, one of the most futuristic architecture in Dubai so definitely is worth it to pay a visit.

Ending the first day with a walk seems really appropriate and in Downtown Dubai, Sheik Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard is the perfect place to do it.

And if you don’t want to walk, the easiest way to get to see all these landmarks is by taking the famous Hop-On Hop-Off Bus.

Second Day
Dubai Marina and Madinat Jumeirah

Dubai Marina has a party vibe all day and all night long. This is one of the amazing spots in Dubai to have a lot of fun and enjoy the vibrant nightlife, which there is!

The Walk here is pretty impressive! The amazing mix of water, many lights, one of the tallest buildings, yacht parties, restaurants, and clubs, make it a great place to spend a day.

The famous Jumeirah Beach Residence has an open beach where you will definitely feel comfortable in your swimming suit. There are many more beaches however due to the cultural differences this in my opinion, is the best one. Also, the world’s largest Ferris wheel is located in Dubai Marina so you can easily see it from JBR.

Not far away from Dubai Marina, you will find the Mall of the Emirates, one of the largest malls in Dubai and home to the famous Ski Dubai.

Explore Dubai The Palm by metro. The view from above is definitely impressive. And next, whether you want to relax for a bit or you just want to have a great spot for some of the best pictures, choose the open beach just next to Burj Al Arab.

Madinat Jumeirah is the contemporary interpretation of a traditional Arab village, a great place to explore a bit more of this country’s culture

Many restaurants, lounges, and clubs in Dubai offer ladies’ night free aperitifs and drinks, therefore you only need to check based on the day of the week, which is the nearest place for you.

Third Day
Old Town and Local Bazar

Day 3 in Dubai should have a bit of traditional information therefore, I highly recommend a trip to Dubai Old Town which is located near Dubai Creek. If you want to experience Dubai Metro now is a great time to do it.

To explore more about Dubai’s history and culture I will definitely suggest you to visit Bur Dubai and Deira. You can taste delicious traditional food at any local restaurant in Deira or you can buy some of the cheapest souvenirs from Al Karama Bazar.

If you are asking me, Dubai Museum is a must-visit location in Dubai. Here is the perfect place to discover the history of Dubai for the past 5o years.

Dubai Creek is an amazing spot for a night cruise and great offers will apply especially on weekdays. As well, here is the best place to have the most delicious fresh fish dinner.

Dubai Frame is one of the newest landmarks in Dubai located between the old and the new city, perfectly framing yesterday and today.

Should you want to visit a mosque I will definitely suggest Jumeirah Mosque. You can find daily guided tours as well. Just keep in mind that Friday is not open for visitors.

Fourth Day
Safari and Abu Dhabi

The fourth day should find you exploring the surroundings, mountains, desert, or maybe other city-emirates

Without any doubt, you should visit the desert. Each desert safari has many amazing tourist activities and affordable prices for a day or half-day package. Probably the best option is to book your trip a few days in advance, if possible.

Global Village is a unique cultural entertainment destination outside Dubai City. With many fun activities and shows, street food, and things to do, here you can have a great time on a budget.

A trip to Hatta Dubai is basically the same must-see destination as the desert. The mountainous region has a lot of activities to offer for nature lovers. bbq, hiking, biking, kayaking, and climbing are just a few of them, and most of them are free.

A trip to the United Arab Emirates capital is part of the complete trip in Dubai. In Abu Dhabi, some of the most famous landmarks are free including The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
